The attacking is a little better this time around. Good job!

I believe that having less MAX hearts would make the game more challenging. Instead of like 22, how about 12 or 13 hearts?

10 would look better. I never understood why ST one went up to 22 instead of stopping at 20.

What's up next? Probably those couple of things I talked about yesterday about fixing vertical jumping and jump attacking. And I've been wanting to do a drowning & death animation but I keep putting it off to do something more difficult.
As for the hearts, I don't know why there is 22 instead of 20 either but mine will have 22 like the original. To make it more difficult you could just avoid picking up any of the big hearts you find on the islands (providing I ever get that far). Also, it would not be that difficult to incorporate a hard difficulty that you unlock after beating the game where the enemies have twice as much health and do twice as much damage or something along those lines.

Are you going to keep the drowing the same or are you going to change the look?

Drowning is going to stay the same. Almost everything I do is going to be as close to the original as possible. Except for a few things such as diagonal walking and a few other ideas that will remain unspoken of that are much further down the road.

You could elaborate on it...but that'd be just plain morbid...so maybe it's a good idea to just keep it the same lol.

Either way, the plain fact that you have the capabilities to make an ST3 gellin make it so I'll be happy with WHATEVER you do... *the guy next to him then says "HE'S DESPERATE!"*

maybe, instead of drowning pn contact with the water, you can just rapidly lose hearst. Like 1/every sec. your in there. And you have to hit the arow twice to move once, so It's like realy live kinda.(What I mean is that in real life it's harder to move in water then on land).

Somthing I thought of was a shallow water tile. You can walk in the water (because you are not drowning) and you won't lose hearts. This could be good for hiding secret areas. Of course the shallow water tiles would be a bit lighter but It still makes it hard to tell.

That's a really good idea michaeljones! I had never even thought of the idea of shallow water. Nor had I thought of the concept of having a slight chance of being able to get out of water once you're in instead of dying automatically. Very nice ideas, people. I approve! lol
Granted my opinion isn't what matters here. It's gellin and whether or not he thinks it's worthy of being done...if it can be done at all.

Shallow water could easily be done if I decide to. It would probably be about 5 minutes of work to add that in. Never doubt my ability to do anything . There's nothing I'm limited to besides ideas, graphics/sounds, and the time to work on it. As for landing in deep water. You will die instantly. None of the losing hearts stuff. I'm surprised that someone who proclaims themselves as the master and wants more difficulty in the game would even suggest something to make it easier .
