What do you guys think? (if you saw it). I believe this has been a strong year for Nintendo, so far! They've made it perfectly clear that they're still thinking about the core audience. For those who missed it, the games announced (at least the interesting looking ones) are: -New Super Mario Bros. Wii -Mario & Luigi 3: Bowser's inside story (old) -Mario vs Donkey Kong (DSiware) -C.O.P. (DS game, similar to GTA, except being the good guys). -Final Fantasy CC: The Crystal Bearers -GOLDEN SUN DS! -Super Mario Galaxy 2 -Metroid: the other M. Now that's one badass list! Just this morning I was playing around with my old save file for Golden Sun, before wondering if Golden Sun 3 would EVER be made... And oh boy... somebody across the sea loves me. Sure, I still held on to my dream of StarTropcis being announced.. but come on, the trend continues! Punch Out!! and now Golden Sun DS! Nintendo is SO bringing franchises back from the dead!!!

Nintendo is also bringing these:
* The fifth game in the Densetsu no Stafy series as The Legendary Starfy
* A game associated for female gamers titled Style Savvy. If more girls get into gaming, then perhaps Nintendo would finally release a Panel de Pon game that still has female characters. I think Data East released a girly puzzle game series titled "Magical Drop" worldwide, and it didn't bother many players.
* Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box, whic is the sequel to Professor Layton and the Curious Village
* That fossil-digging, dino-battle game Bokura wa Kaisekihorida (lit. "We're Fossil Diggers") as Fossil Fighters.

Oh, that's right! Densetsu no Stafy 4 is coming out too. Though I thought it already had. Anyway, I heard the other Stafy titltes were also on their way to the west. Though I wonder in what sort of format. Me guesses DSiware, since with the release of the DSi marked the complete end of GBA production. What a shame... GBA has probably been my favorite handheld system so far... Honestly, the only things that can persuade me to buy the DSi would be either StarTropics III or Chrono Trigger III if they were headed for DSiware. Back on topic. Still no word about Sin & Punishment 2, either know we know it's coming. I've never heard of Fossil Fighters... is it 1st/2nd party?

Forget the Hollywood mess. If I was host, I'd have Wheel tape on C-Island. :)

Metroid: The Other M, is that the REAL title? Seems... weird... but intriguing... New Super Mario Bros might be ok, I haven't really been a Mario person post-SNES. AND WHERE THE HELL IS A NEW ZELDA WII?? GIMME MORE THAN TOON LINK DS GAMES, I WANT WII!

I was never a hardcore Zelda fan (call me squareminded, but my first Zelda was ST!) That doesn't mean I don't like the franchise. I've played most of them. But I've completely ignored the Toon Link games. I don't know why everytime I see the melon-headed version of Link, I feel like tearing his face open for some reason.. I hated that design since I first saw it. Regardless, Ocarina, MM, TW, Alttp, and Link's Awakening, I liked them very much. Metroid, the other M is the actual name. According to Team Ninja, it's something related to the story which you'll get to understand when the time's right. Still, kinda weird name. XD StarTropics, the other S. I'm not a fan of the 3D Mario, so Mario Galaxy 2 really didn't make that much of a difference to me. But dang... Golden Sun... totally unexpected miracle. Last time I read, Camelot said they'd release Golden Sun sequel when they were ready. So I bet the DS title will be spectacular! Now... if only... if ONLY... some 2nd or 3rd party would be interested in bringing StarTropics back... I know people dig the action-adventure-zeldaesque type games, so why are they hesitating to bring it back? I bet the issue is mainly because of Japan's lack of interest/knowledge on the franchise. But heck, if Pilotwings can make it, I'm sure ST someday might as well could too!

The two Super Mario games and Metroid: Other M made this the best E3 ever for me. I was hoping for one new Super Mario adventure game and I ended up getting two!

Dire Kaikokudan) is what's being released outside of Japan. There is an interview with the Starfy series staff about it here. And yes, Nintendo is planning to release the other four Starfy titles, if the fifth one succeeds and gets a very good fan response, so if you want to see Starfy in SSB4 and get more games in the series, please buy The Legendary Starfy when it is released on June 8th. Fossil Fighters is a new game that came out on mine and coralcola's birthday last year. I created a Wikipedia article about it.
