So I finally downloaded my 1st VC game.. I don't know why, but I chose Urban Champion to be it. There were a few wrong things with my choice..
1.- In the Wii Shop Channel, the release date said 1986.. when in reality it was released in 1984. Big difference..?
YES!
1986 = Post Super Mario Bros.
1984 = Pre Super Mario Bros.
2.- I had completely confused the game with River City Ransom (was that the name?)
As for the game.. It's kinda like Punch Out, except viewed form the side.. and without the special attacks.
There are just four moves, Punch up, punch down, dodge and blocking.
You have to force your opponent against the end side of the screen in the direction you are facing. (to the right).
Graphically, it's kinda nice for its age (beats the heck out of Ice Climbers), but the game isn't that much entertaining...
I should've gone with Ballooon Fight or Kid Icarus... (thank God I didn't go for Punch OUt, cause I heard it has lag problems)
So I feel like I "wasted" 500 Wii points for Urban Champion. I should review games before downloading them..
Urban C. was not quite what I expected.. It's a bit fun to punch your opponent from one block to another.. but it gets old quickly...
Oh well.. You know what my other 500 points are gonna be spent on tomorrow anyway.
I might forget about this bad purchase.
