If You Know Me You'd Know That I'm Old School.
I Own A Dozen Older Systems All Of Which Have Libraries Of Games I've Barely Touched Upon.
I Have A Couple PS1's With Mod Chips, Burned Off About Every RPG There Is, Then I Accidentally Found A Site That Has Every Playstation ISO Ever, And Every Game That Never Made A North American Release.
So On Playstation Alone I Have Enough To Keep Me Occupied Forever, So Why Waste Money On Buying A Next Gen System When I Still Have All These Games To Go Through?
So I Have Strictly Been Rockin My Ps1 For Years.
Well Last X-Mas Some Dude Randomly Messages Me And Asks Me To Buy His Ps2 For 40 Bucks, So I Did.
Now, Are All These Games For Next Gen Systems Short Or Is It Just My Imagination?
I Nearly Beat FFX In A Day, I Beat Fable In 12 Hours, And Other Games Were Lucky If They Got A Weeks Attention. They Were Shorter Than Older Games, But Not That Short.
2 Months Ago I Bought And XBox 360, Graphics Are Great, Games Are Short.
I Swear To You That Gears Of War Is A 5 Hour Game.
I Played Through Story Mode On Soul Calibur 4 Just Twice And I Had Already Enough Money To Unlock All Characters And Costumes. The Story Mode Is 5 Stages. So Imagine Playing Arcade Mode On A Standard Fighting Game That Is 10 Stages Long, Then Unlocking Everything Just By Doing That.
There Is Nothing To DBZ Burst Limit, Nothing.
Picked Up Lost Odyssey Open The Case Its 4 Discs Long I'm Thinking "Now We're Talking."
Played Through, Then I'm Wondering Why It Was Necessary To Put This Game On 4 Discs. Why Was It Necessary To Waste Raw Materials And Put This Game On 4 Discs. Theres Nothing On The Discs At All, You Fart And Then You Have To Insert The Next Disc. I'm On The 4th Disc Level 39, And The Games Almost Over.
I Guess Theres Just Too Much Focus On Graphics Alone These Days.
